SAFETY

Security:

When you enter the festival grounds, you are subject to a search of your person, including handbags or backpacks. If you object to a search, DO NOT ENTER.

First Aid:

First Aid will be administered by the Welch Volunteer Fire Department.  If you need help please go to the headquarters tent.

 

Handicapped parking areas: 

Handicapped parking areas are available. Inquire upon entry as to the location.

​

Lost and Found/Lost Kids:

Please check at the event headquarters tent from 10am – 7pm.

​

No Pets On-Site

Only Service Dogs will be allowed.

FACILITIES

Coolers/Outside Food and Drink:

Outside Food and Drink are not permitted at the festival other than bottled water. Vendors will be selling food/drink and a beer garden will be available.

 

Lodging:
Welch offers hotels in downtown and several cabins and B&B's.  For alternate choices, visit the lodging page of the McDowell County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Restrooms: 

Public restrooms are available onsite for necessary business.

 

Ice: 

Ice is available for purchase.

 

Blankets/Chairs/etc:

Blankets and lawn chairs are welcomed. Tables and chairs are available near the vendor concessions.

Free Weekend Parking Downtown
Parking is now complimentary on the weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays) at the Welch Parking Garage. Come enjoy downtown with safe, accessible parking...movies, shopping, the park and more!

RULES

All bags and persons subject to search.

​

No coolers.

​

No bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or rollerblades.

 

No radios or amplifications.

 

No distribution of literature or solicitation.  

​

Anyone drinking beer must have a valid “over 21” bracelet.

​

Anyone breaking these rules will be asked to leave the event by security.
